My Bio
I am someone who is experimenting with all medias and ways to design and create their art pieces. I don't know what I want to do, but I do know where I want to be. I want to be in a place where someone can look at my art, feel a reaction, and know that it is mine and my style.
I have played with 2d art since pre-k, but I never really started to be interested in art until about 6th grade. Ever since that time, though, I have had a strong passion for learning about what I can do with different medias and what I can make by myself.
Specifically I love drawing, and the more color I use the more I enjoy what I am doing. I like black and whites as well, don't get me wrong, learning about the values of objects and using a simple black and white can be fun, I just typically enjoy my chalk and oil pastels to my charcoals.

Help with Concentration Portfolio

I am in the AP Studio Art class and have to do a concentration portfolio. My portfolio is going to be about cultural appropriation vs appreciation. I myself am very much white, but want to learn of the injustices done against as many races as I can learn about. (so, all, really) I currently am trying to do a piece on Japan, and the injustices in WWII (For example the US anti Japanese Propaganda) and have it compared to the real Japanese culture. Which I have also been extensively researching. But I am unsure of how to do the comparison. I was thinking of using a popular anti Japanese piece and fill it in with a real example of Japanese cultur

the slow steps towards the bus stop,
a half-mile-long dirt road leading to
the beginning of the day,
which is already in my past, already a year
gone by.
the slow breath in the autumn air
